Meet Jean

After studying hospitality and tourism management in Paris, Jean returned to China and founded Atelier des Sens in Guangzhou, serving as an Chef instructor. 
As the founder of Shinelong and Furnotel, he has led the creation of over 8,000 commercial kitchens across 120+ countries. From fusion cuisine to global kitchen solutions, this is where flavors, function, and forward-thinking design come together.
Jean's Vision for Shinelong

With over two decades rooted in the commercial kitchen industry, Jean has committed his life to facilitating those who love cooking. He founded Shinelong in 2008, later launching Furnotel in 2014 to further realize his mission. 


‘'To those who are passionate about food, I want to provide better tools and better kitchens,” Jean says. Through Shinelong’s one-stop commercial kitchen solutions—covering cost estimating, custom design, equipment manufacturing, installation, and after-sales—he aims to bring gourmet to the world.


Every project reflects a deep respect for culinary and a promise to put the customer first. This is not just business—it’s a shared journey toward better kitchens and remarkable flavors.
