Project Analysis and Communication

In the first half of 2024, we initiated contact with LA PIANA. Our professional sales consultants maintained ongoing communication to deeply understand the client's requirements for the restaurant, including its positioning, theme, budget, product needs, and the kitchen area's size. Based on this information, we provided a detailed product list and pricing proposal.

After the product list proposal was confirmed, our project team conducted an on-site inspection to assess the space and operational dynamics. We stayed in close contact with the client, holding regular meetings to gather essential data and ensure the kitchen project's successful implementation.


Project Design and Planning

After conducting a comprehensive information gathering for LA PIANA restaurant, our professional team provided technical support to our client. We collected feedback from the restaurant's head chef and staff, identifying areas they found challenging. With our expertise and commitment to excellence, we offer comprehensive solutions to address these issues.

Upon completing the information collection, our consulting experts, professional kitchen designers, and project managers formed the LA PIANA project team. Together, they designed a kitchen layout that met the restaurant's needs, developed a detailed project plan, and aligned the delivery timeline to ensure a smooth and efficient project execution.

After thoroughly understanding the overall project and client requirements, Shinelong engaged with the design team to ensure that the kitchen layout was both rational and efficient, enhancing space utilization and equipment suitability. Our project managers closely monitored the progress, ensuring timely delivery of the project.

We also dispatched professional teams to the site for coordination and progress control. Additionally, we provided comprehensive product training and explanations to ensure smooth operation and maximum benefit from the equipment.



Design & Layout
Shinelong's design team meticulously crafted a functional and efficient kitchen layout, ensuring optimal workflow and space utilization. After extensive discussions with the client and thorough on-site investigations, we concluded that a U-shaped kitchen layout would be the ideal solution.

In the commercial kitchen industry, there are 6 common kitchen design layouts, each with its own set of advantages and applications:

U-shaped Layout:

Highly efficient, utilizing three walls for a compact, ergonomic workspace. Ideal for maximizing storage and minimizing movement in busy kitchens.

L-shaped Layout

Versatile and space-efficient, placing work areas at right angles. Suitable for various kitchen sizes, providing ample counter space and storage.

Straight Layout:

Linear arrangement along one or two parallel walls. Efficient for small spaces, offering a streamlined workflow in fast-paced environments.

Gallery Layout:

Places kitchen elements along two parallel walls, creating a central aisle. Ideal for small to medium kitchens, promoting smooth movement and access.

Island Layout:

Features a central island for additional workspace and interaction. Suitable for larger kitchens, adding a social element and promoting staff supervision.

Parallel Layout:

Work areas on two opposite walls, offering an organized and efficient workspace. Suitable for moderate-sized kitchens, providing clear workflow and ample storage.


We chose the U-shaped layout because it is ideal for complex, compact commercial kitchens. It fits compact spaces perfectly, enhancing daily workflow and providing a seamless, efficient culinary environment. This layout reduces the time and effort required for food preparation and service, making it a top choice for high-demand settings.
